{"id":10547,"date":"2026-10-14T06:38:56","date_gmt":"2026-10-14T06:38:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chhedaconsultancyservices.com\/?p=10547"},"modified":"2026-10-14T06:38:59","modified_gmt":"2026-10-14T06:38:59","slug":"epfo-extends-september-2026-pf-filing-due-date-to-31st-october-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chhedaconsultancyservices.com\/?p=10547","title":{"rendered":"EPFO Extends September 2026 PF Filing Due Date to 31st October 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<body>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Employees\u2019 Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has extended the due date for filing the Electronic Challan-cum-Return (ECR) and depositing statutory PF contributions for the wage month of September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As per the circular dated <strong>13th October 2026<\/strong>, employers can now complete the filing and payment on or before <strong>31st October 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important Points<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Revised due date:<\/strong> 31st October 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Applicable month:<\/strong> September 2026 wages only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reason:<\/strong> Additional time is provided to make payroll and compliance changes following the revised wage ceiling effective from 17th September 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employer action:<\/strong> Revise payroll calculations, verify PF contributions, and file the ECR with the corresponding payment within the extended deadline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Important clarification:<\/strong> This extension applies only to September 2026.
