{"id":10562,"date":"2026-10-21T06:36:50","date_gmt":"2026-10-21T06:36:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chhedaconsultancyservices.com\/?p=10562"},"modified":"2026-10-21T06:36:53","modified_gmt":"2026-10-21T06:36:53","slug":"meghalaya-minimum-wages-revised-from-1-october-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chhedaconsultancyservices.com\/?p=10562","title":{"rendered":"Meghalaya Minimum Wages Revised from 1 October 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<body>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Government of Meghalaya, Department of Labour, Employment &amp; Skill Development, has revised the minimum wage rates, including Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), with effect from <strong>1 October 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The revised daily wage rates vary according to the employee\u2019s skill category:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><th>Employee Category<\/th><th>Daily Minimum Wage + VDA<\/th><\/tr><tr><td>Unskilled<\/td><td>\u20b9564<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Semi-skilled<\/td><td>\u20b9608<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Skilled<\/td><td>\u20b9650<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Highly Skilled<\/td><td>\u20b9693<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The revised rates include VDA but exclude other concessions, if any. The notification also specifies an eight-hour working day and a 48-hour working week.
