The Government of Karnataka has issued an advisory regarding Professional Tax (PT) payment for the month of February 2026.

As per the KPTC & E (Amendment) Act, 2025, the Professional Tax payable for the month of February has been revised to ₹300 per employee, applicable from now onwards. All employers are advised to remit ₹300 per employee under their registered Professional Tax RC for February 2026 to ensure compliance and avoid penalties.
