As per the Kerala Industrial Establishments (National and Festival Holidays) Act, 1958, establishments employing 20 or more employees are required to provide 13 paid holidays annually, comprising 4 National Holidays and 9 Festival Holidays.

Employers must prepare the list of selected festival holidays for the year 2027 and submit it to the local Labour Department Inspector for approval on or before 30th November 2026.
