The Office of the Labour Commissioner, Chhattisgarh, has issued a notification revising minimum wages and Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.

The revised rates are effective from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027 for the specified scheduled employments. The notification covers different categories of workers, including unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled and highly skilled workers.

Employers must review the applicable wage rates and update their salary structures and payroll records to ensure compliance with the revised minimum wages and VDA.
