The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has extended the Scheme to Promote Registration of Employers/Employees (SPREE) for one more month, allowing employers and employees who were earlier left out to register under ESI and avail social security benefits without penalty. The scheme will now remain open from 1 January 2026 to 31 January 2026 with the same terms and conditions as earlier.
