The Haryana Government has revised the minimum wages for all categories of workers effective from 1st April 2026 to ensure fair compensation and better worker welfare. As per the notification, the monthly wages are ₹15,220 for unskilled workers, ₹16,780 for semi-skilled workers, ₹18,500 for skilled workers, and ₹19,425 for highly skilled workers. The revision applies to all establishments across the state and ensures that no employee is paid below the prescribed minimum wages. It also mandates equal wages for men and women workers and specifies that wage calculations are generally based on 26 working days. Additionally, trainees are entitled to receive at least 75% of the applicable wages under certain conditions. This revision reflects the government’s effort to align wages with current economic standards and safeguard employee rights.
