Maharashtra, Women & Child Development Department, has issued a notification dated 14 May 2026 regarding inspection and monitoring of compliance under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (“POSH Act”).

As per the notification, District Officers, Women & Child Development Officers and other designated officials have been authorised to conduct inspections of establishments for verification of POSH compliance.
